Why is my device spraying clear and not white? Or why is my device not getting cold?
Your CO2 tank is empty. Switch out your tank.

Why is my device spraying CO2 under the base and out the tip instead of a steady stream?
If your Subzero sprays straight with the nozzle removed but leaks with the nozzle on, then your O-ring at the base of the nozzle bolt is broken. You can review the troubleshooting video on youtube. Remove and replace the O-ring. See this video for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RaOEPYZzNQ

What setting do I need to have the dome or contact head on?
It is imperative, you have the dome/ contact heads on MASSAGE setting only. If you place the setting on anything else other than MASSAGE you risk the head exploding or cracking.

Do I spray the contact head or dome head at the client when treating?
No, you may injure your client by doing so. Please remember to follow the guidelines and training to place the setting on MASSAGE and spray away from your client until the stream has stopped (3-4 seconds). then you can apply the contact head or dome head onto the skin. NEVER SPRAY THE DEVICE AND CONTACT THE SKIN WHILE THE MASSAGE COOLING STREAM IS ACTIVE!

How many pounds of CO2 are in my tank?
In a 20lb tank you have about 15-17lbs of quality CO2 to use for client sessions. This is also true for larger tanks. Plan to have just under the stated capacity in actual usable CO2 in your tanks. Your gas company may tell you that CO2 is still in the tank, however the gas has settled and not useful CO2 for the device to reach optimal temperature

How many treatments do I get with a 20lb tank?
remember 15-17lbs in a 20lb tank therefore at approximately 1lb per minute you have 15-17 minutes of spraying in your tank. Use the 1 lb per minute to guide your protocols and use of gas. Tanks vary and are not always the same!

What type of tank do I need for the subzero?
You need a CO2 tank with a syphon, 20 and 50 lb tanks are the most common. We typically recommend 20 lb tanks for mobile businesses and 50 lb tanks for brick and mortar. Your needs may vary. We always recommend getting more than one tank. You need to reach out to a gas company and ask for industrial or food grade CO2. Medical Grade must be used if treating open wounds. Medical grade is much more difficult to obtain and most businesses stick with food or industrial grade

What do you charge per session for orthopedic or aesthetic services?
This varies on many factors ... we would discuss this on our call to better understand your price structure. Always sell aesthetic packages (5-8-10-12) depending on your market and your goal. You cannot do one session to make a difference for slimming sessions. It is best to do market research on competitors in your area which can help guide pricing discussions on your call. A pricing guide will also be sent to you after after the zoom call.

How often can you treat a client with the Subzero?
This varies based on your goal. Orthopedic treatments can be completed multiple times per day as tolerated. Most orthopedic clients do 2-3 sessions per week. Aesthetics you can treat 1-2x/ week for slimming to allow the cryolipolysis process to run its course. You need a minimum of 72 hours between sessions.

How do I know how much CO2 is in my tank?
You have to weight the tanks. Each tank will have TW on it followed by a number. This is the Tare Weight, or empty weight. Put the tank on a scale, the amount over the TW is how much CO2 is in the tank. This is easy to do for 20 lb tanks, much more difficulty for 50 lb tanks. We recommend tracking your spray usage to know how much you have used and have left.

How do I transport my CO2 tank?
CO2 dollies are available through America Cryo! These are the best and easiest way to transport your tanks. We have also seen people use folding hand carts and straps to transport their tanks. For 50lb tanks, we recommend having the gas company pick up and drop, and keeping the tank stationary in between.

Should I buy a CO2 tank off Amazon or secondhand from someone to save a couple dollars?
We do not recommend doing this. We recommend to only get your tanks from the gas supplies for reliability and safety reasons.

Can I package the subzero cryotherapy treatments with other services?
It is okay to package the Subzero with multiple treatments! Many clients have had great success with packages. We will discuss your services individually on your call.

Where can I get cryotherapy insurance?
We will discuss this on your call. If you have insurance currently for your business, check with them first. Two of the most common insurance companies we see used, otherwise, are Breckenridge and CM&F.

I am not getting the blue light when I am spraying, what am I doing wrong?
First thing to check is how you are holding and moving the device. You want the device parallel with your path of motion so the sensors on the sides of the nozzle are in line with the direction you are treating. Second, make sure you are moving at the right speed when spraying to allow for cooling of the skin to the therapeutic temperature. We will help you refine your technique on the training call.

How do I scheduled my final zoom certification call?

What if I no-show to my zoom call that I scheduled?
Due to only being able to complete a few calls each day with people, our slots are limited and valuable. We fully expect you to show up for the call that you schedule or to reschedule it at least 8 hours in advance. If you are a no-show or reschedule less than 8 hours prior to your call, there is a $35 no-show fee that will be charged to you. You will be locked out from the training until that fee is paid.

Why is CO2 leaking from the quick-connect at the tank?
Either the quick-connect is not on tight enough, or the washer inside the fatter end of the quick-connect is missing or broken. Ensure it is on tight enough. If it is, then check the washer.

CO2 is leaking from the quick-connect release button, or the button is freezing. How do I fix this?
There is an internal o-ring in the quick-connect that may be broken. Reach out to [email protected] for replacements.

Do my clients need to do anything outside of cryoslimming sessions to see the best results?
Yes! They need to focus on and maintain a healthy lifestyle include appropriate hydration, nutrition, and exercise to achieve the best results.

Where is the equine training?
The equine online course is still in development by America Cryo. There are equine protocols available. Completing the orthopedic online course and the video call with the Master Trainers will enable you to complete equine treatments.

Can I download the aesthetic and orthopedic protocols?
Yes! PDF versions of the protocols are sent after the zoom call.

Can I fly with the Subzero!
Yes you can! You have to have it as a carry-on, whether you bring the entire kit or just pieces in your luggage. If asked what it is, just explain it is a cryotherapy device.

Yes! After you complete the zoom call, you will receive a link to a folder with PDF versions of the protocols, pricing guide, pictures, flyers, and more! You will NOT get access to this folder and these resources if you do not complete the video call!
